使用virsh edit命令修改虛擬機內存不生效問題

今天遇到一個問題,使用virsh edit <vm>命令調整(zheng)了虛擬機的內存大小后, 保(bao)存退出,再次使用virsh edit <vm>命令查看虛擬機配置文件(jian),發現內存又(you)改回了先前的值(zhi)。

 

我的原始配置(zhi)文件(jian)是(shi):

我想(xiang)把虛擬機內存(cun)改為2M,于是找到(dao)下面兩行(xing):

  <memory unit='KiB'>2029144</memory>

  <currentMemory unit='KiB'>2029144</currentMemory>

將其修改為:

  <memory unit='KiB'>4194304</memory>

  <currentMemory unit='KiB'>4194304</currentMemory>

保存退出(chu),virsh顯示(shi)一切OK:

[root@t620 SourceCode]# virsh edit vm21   
Domain vm21 XML configuration edited.

但是再次(ci)查(cha)看VM21的XML配置文件,發現這兩行(xing)又恢復(fu)為原(yuan)值(zhi)。

經過(guo)仔細觀察,發現在文檔中還有一處配置:

  <cpu mode='host-passthrough' check='none'>;

    <topology sockets='1' cores='4' threads='1'/>

    <numa>

      <cell id='0' cpus='0-3' memory='2029144' unit='KiB' memAccess='shared'/>

    </numa>

  </cpu>

同時修改這三處(chu),問題解決(jue)。

 

根因(yin): 虛擬機的XML文件要上下一致。上面定義2G內存,那么(me)在CPU的設置中(zhong)也(ye)需(xu)要用完這(zhe)2G內存。否則,系統會自動恢復成自認為正確(que)的值。
